United States, June 2024 – Chenoa Warner has taken on the role of Vice President, Talent & Culture at Sparkfund. With extensive experience in HR management, organizational culture, and talent development, Chenoa is excited to support Sparkfund’s mission to accelerate the energy transition and create a more equitable built environment.
Chenoa Warner joins Sparkfund after her tenure at Carbon Lighthouse, where she served as the Head of People Operations for approximately 3 years and 5 months. Based in New York and San Francisco, she successfully maintained a turnover rate of 3% for two consecutive years and implemented a comprehensive Performance Management System that resulted in high job satisfaction. She also spearheaded a Professional Development and Mentorship Program and led talent acquisition efforts.
Before that, Chenoa held various roles at Carbon Lighthouse, including Head of People Operations & Business Operations. During her tenure, she developed and enforced HR policies, led recruitment initiatives, and fostered a culture of teamwork and psychological safety.
Chenoa also served as a Human Resources Manager at Carbon Lighthouse for around 10 months, where she managed HR functions, developed policies and procedures, and supported employee learning and development.
Her earlier career includes roles such as Head of People and Culture at Farmgirl Flowers for approximately 10 months, where she fostered a positive team environment and strengthened talent recruitment strategies, and General Manager at Rare Device for about 1 year and 3 months, where she streamlined operations and supported a thriving team culture.
Additionally, Chenoa has experience as a Full-time Faculty- Foundations Manager/Coordinator and MFA Drawing and Painting Instructor at the Academy of Art University for nearly 5 years. She also worked as an Inside Sales Representative at Threshold Enterprises, a Store Manager at Starbucks Coffee, and a Store Manager at Safeway.
Sparkfund is an energy transition partner that collaborates with utilities, leading energy brands, and commercial real estate owners to make the built environment a valuable extension of the grid. Sparkfund’s embedded multi-tech project development, implementation, and financing programs transform buildings into profitable, resilient, and sustainable assets.
