With over 25 years of leadership experience across world-class technology organizations including Cloudflare, ServiceNow, EMC, Symantec, Oracle, Pivotal Solutions, and Zebra Technologies, CJ brings a proven record of scaling enterprise software, driving innovation, and leading high-performing teams across diverse business environments.
Before joining MongoDB, CJ served as President, Product & Engineering at Cloudflare, where he oversaw the company’s global product strategy, engineering organization, and AI-led innovation initiatives. Prior to that, he held multiple leadership roles at ServiceNow, most recently as President & Chief Operating Officer, leading enterprise-wide operations across products, platforms, design, AI research, engineering, cloud infrastructure, and customer success. His tenure at ServiceNow was instrumental in driving multi-billion-dollar product portfolio growth and establishing the company as a global SaaS leader.
Earlier in his career, CJ led the Emerging Technologies Division at EMC, managing high-growth, market-leading product lines across storage and data solutions, and served as Executive Vice President of Information Management and Enterprise Security at Symantec, where he drove transformation across multi-billion-dollar product categories. His early leadership experience at Oracle Corporation and Pivotal Corporation laid the foundation for his expertise in software engineering, product management, and large-scale enterprise platform development.
In addition to his corporate leadership, CJ serves as a Guest Lecturer at Stanford University, teaching courses at the Graduate School of Business and undergraduate levels. His previous board role at Zebra Technologies further underscores his strategic experience in guiding technology companies through complex business landscapes.
