Seattle, Washington, United States, April, 2025 — Chris Mason has been appointed as SVP Global Business Services and Chief Information Officer at Sonos, Inc., marking a significant milestone in his over three-decade-long career across finance, operations, and information technology. In his new role, he will oversee global business services and technology transformation, driving operational efficiency and innovation to support Sonos’s continued growth.
Chris has been an integral part of Sonos for over 11 years, previously serving as Acting Chief Information Officer, SVP Finance, Principal Accounting Officer, and Treasurer, and VP, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. His contributions have been pivotal in shaping Sonos’s financial strategy, accounting infrastructure, and enterprise systems during his tenure.
Before joining Sonos, Chris held senior finance leadership roles at Atmel Corporation, where he was Senior Director and Vice President of Business Finance, and at Texas Instruments, where he served as Director of Finance & Operations in Germany. He also spent nearly 14 years at National Semiconductor, rising through the ranks to become European Director of Finance & Operations (CFO Europe) and Director of Global Internal Audit.
Chris began his career with Ernst & Young LLP in audit and consulting, before serving in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant and B52 Defensive Aerial Gunner. His diverse background and deep expertise across finance, audit, operations, and information systems position him strongly to drive enterprise-wide transformation and technological excellence at Sonos.
