Sacramento, California, United States, September 2025 – Mark III Construction, Inc. has announced the appointment of Chris Williams-Campbell as its new Chief People Officer. In this role, he will oversee the company’s people strategy, organizational culture, and leadership development, aligning workforce initiatives with Mark III’s proud legacy and growth objectives across California and Nevada.
Williams-Campbell most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources at Origin Materials, where he played a key role in shaping HR strategy and organizational development for the company’s innovative materials solutions. His contributions included driving employee engagement, workforce planning, and leadership development programs.
Prior to Origin Materials, he spent six years as Head of People & Culture at Arcadia Biosciences, leading HR operations during a transformative phase of growth and expansion. His work involved implementing scalable HR strategies, fostering culture change, and ensuring organizational effectiveness.
Earlier, he worked as a Human Resource Consultant and also held the role of Vice President of Human Resources, Americas at H.M. Clause (Groupe Limagrain), where he supported HR strategies for a global agricultural business.
Williams-Campbell also gained valuable leadership experience as Vice President of Human Resources at Mendel Biological Solutions and as Director of Human Resources at Volcano Corporation, where he strengthened people processes, succession planning, and organizational development. He began his career in HR consulting with ALZA Corporation (InBios International), building expertise in human resources leadership and advisory.
