London, UK, August 2024 – Claire Fox has joined Digital Science as the new Chief People Officer, bringing over two decades of experience in human resources, organizational transformation, and leadership development. Her appointment marks a significant addition to Digital Science’s leadership team, as the company continues to expand its influence in the AI-driven research and technology sector.
Claire joins the Digital Science Executive Team at a time of growth for the company, with its continued mission to drive progress for all through research and innovation.
Prior to joining Digital Science, Claire was the Founder and Managing Director of Claire Fox Coaching for nearly three years. In this role, she specialized in coaching senior leaders for sustainable high performance, leveraging her executive leadership experience and philosophy of Work-Life Symbiosis to help leaders achieve their full potential while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Before her entrepreneurial venture, Claire served as the Senior Director of Digital, Data and Technology (Interim) and Senior Director People (Interim) at the British Red Cross for just over a year. During her tenure, she was instrumental in leading digital transformation initiatives and enhancing the organization’s people strategy.
Claire also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at UNICEF UK for nearly three years, where she oversaw all operational aspects of the organization. In this role, she drove strategic initiatives and ensured that the organization’s mission aligned with its operational practices. Additionally, she briefly served as the Chief People Officer at UNICEF UK, where she led HR strategies to support organizational goals.
Earlier in her career, Claire spent over a decade at Unilever in various HR leadership roles. Her experience there includes serving as HR Director for Unilever Food Solutions UK/Ireland, HR Director Global Marketing and Sales, and HR Director Europe for Unilever Food Solutions. Her work at Unilever was marked by her ability to align HR strategies with business goals, foster employee engagement, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
