Clara Sin Appointed as Group Chief Human Resource Officer at National University Health System

Singapore, January 2025 – Clara Sin has been promoted to Group Chief Human Resource Officer at the National University Health System (NUHS). In her new role, Clara will oversee the HR strategy for NUHS’s extensive network, which includes 17,000 staff across multiple healthcare and academic institutions. Her leadership will focus on transforming HR operations to enhance staff engagement and drive healthcare innovation in Singapore.

Clara has been a part of NUHS for over 23 years, holding various key positions. Most recently, she served as Group Chief Operating Officer – Service Transformation Office, where she established the inaugural Service Transformation Office to streamline service delivery and implement digital innovations such as the NUHS App. Previously, Clara successfully rolled out a digital archiving system as Group COO – Medical Records Office, transforming the management of medical records across NUHS.

Her journey at National University Hospital (NUH) includes pivotal roles like Chief Operating Officer, where she led operations for exceptional patient care, and Director – Medical Affairs, where she was instrumental in setting up the NUHS Residency Program for postgraduate specialist training. Earlier in her career, Clara contributed significantly to the Lean Office’s development, embedding Toyota principles into the healthcare setting.

Before joining NUH, Clara served as a Relationship Manager at DBS Bank, handling mortgage loans and priority banking relationships for nearly a decade.
