Toronto, Ontario, Canada, August 2024 – Clare Drury has stepped into the role of Director, People Change Management Centre of Excellence at CIBC. In her new position, Clare will lead the centre’s strategic initiatives focused on driving change management solutions that align with the bank’s core objectives, helping to transform and enhance the workplace environment.

Prior to her promotion, Clare served as Senior Consultant – People Change Management Centre of Excellence at CIBC for one year, where she played a pivotal role in executing change management strategies for key organizational programs. Clare was instrumental in facilitating a smooth transition during major structural and process changes across the organization.

Before that, Clare worked as a Senior Consultant – People Change Management, Program Delivery at CIBC, where she successfully delivered program-focused change initiatives, ensuring alignment with CIBC’s long-term goals and maintaining employee engagement. Her strategic guidance significantly contributed to the success of the organization’s program delivery efforts.

Earlier in her career, Clare gained valuable experience as an Analyst – Talent Development (Summer Student) at CIBC. She was responsible for supporting various initiatives related to data management, presentation design, and content creation. This experience helped lay the foundation for her strong analytical and change management skills, essential for her current role.

In addition to her extensive tenure at CIBC, Clare has worked in various other roles that have enhanced her expertise in talent development and change management strategies. These positions have allowed her to develop key skills in leadership, program execution, and employee engagement.
