Miami, Florida, United States, June 2024 – Claudia Weiler Neiva has joined Nipro Medical Corporation as the new Vice President of Human Resources. With an extensive background in HR leadership, Claudia brings valuable experience in strategic HR planning, organizational development, and talent management to her new role at Nipro Medical Corporation.
Before joining Nipro Medical Corporation, Claudia served as the Vice President HR North America at Ontex. In this role, Claudia led HR functions across the United States and Mexico, managing a team of 14 and overseeing 900 employees across three sites and two plants. She played a key role in establishing regional HR strategies, driving staffing plans, and implementing talent management programs. Claudia’s leadership contributed to a 100% headcount increase in the US within one year and the successful execution of a cultural transformation initiative.
Prior to her role at Ontex, Claudia was the Vice President HR South America and Australia. She managed HR operations and acted as a business partner for LATAM and Australia, driving HR initiatives that led to 18% top-line growth and an 8% reduction in people costs. Claudia also focused on diversity and inclusion, achieving significant milestones in gender diversity and disability inclusion.
Claudia served as the Human Resources Director at Dorel Sports, where she transformed the HR function of a traditional national company into a division of a multinational organization. She led various HR projects, including succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development, turning the division into an HR benchmark for the entire group.
Earlier in her career, Claudia was the Senior Human Resources Manager at Grupo RBS. She managed all HR functions for a large media conglomerate, implementing talent management projects that significantly improved employee engagement. Claudia also led organizational transformation processes and played a crucial role in the CEO’s succession planning.
