Sydney, New South Wales, Australia – October 2024 – Clea Newson has been appointed as the Head of People and Culture at Diversity Council Australia Ltd (DCA). In this role, Clea will be responsible for spearheading the organization’s HR strategies, culture initiatives, and employee engagement efforts, with a focus on driving diversity and inclusion within DCA and its member organizations.
Before joining Diversity Council Australia Ltd, Clea Newson was a Consultant at Cult of Monday for nearly three years, where she provided strategic HR solutions, including talent management and cultural transformation, to various clients.
Prior to that, Clea served as the Director of People and Culture at Keune Haircosmetics, where she focused on organizational development, talent acquisition, and employee engagement, driving a culture of inclusivity.
Earlier in her career, Clea was the People and Culture Director at We Are Social, where she led HR initiatives, implemented performance management systems, and facilitated diversity programs across the organization.
Her journey also includes extensive experience at R/GA, where she worked in various HR roles over nearly eight years, evolving from HR Coordinator to HR Business Partner, supporting talent development, employee relations, and HR operations.
