New York, United States, March 2025 – Courtney Barabas-Esperance has taken on a new role as Director, Talent Acquisition – Field at KnitWell Group, overseeing hiring strategies across a portfolio of some of the most iconic American apparel brands, including Talbots, Ann Taylor, LOFT, Lane Bryant, Chico’s, White House Black Market, and Soma. In this pivotal role, Courtney will be responsible for driving strategic field recruitment initiatives to support talent needs across retail locations nationwide.
Courtney brings a deep understanding of retail recruitment, honed over more than a decade of experience, most recently at KnitWell Group itself, where she served as Senior Manager and Manager of Field Talent Acquisition, focusing on field hiring for Talbots, Lane Bryant, LOFT, and Ann Taylor. Before that, she spent nearly three years at Talbots, leading recruitment and field strategy as Manager of Field Talent Acquisition and Senior Recruiter.

Earlier in her career, Courtney built her recruitment expertise as a Technical Recruiter at JFC Global, and also gained strong brand and field marketing experience through roles with Archrival for adidas, DICK’S Sporting Goods, and Global Brands Group, where she managed visual merchandising and field teams across multiple regions and high-profile labels such as Calvin Klein.
