Houston, Texas, United States, December 13, 2024 – Cyclyx International, LLC, a leading post-use plastic-to-feedstock company, announced the appointment of Chris Yandell as its Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2025. Yandell succeeds Joe Vaillancourt, who is retiring and will remain as a board advisor through 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.

Yandell brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the specialty chemicals industry. He has held pivotal roles, including Chief Commercial Officer for refining catalysts at Albemarle Corporation, managing a $1 billion P&L, and Vice President of Lithium Operations, executing strategic initiatives across the U.S., Chile, Australia, and China. Most recently, Yandell served as Senior Vice President at Compass Minerals International, leading the company’s lithium business. His career also includes leadership roles at Praxair (now Linde) and BASF, with a consistent focus on operational excellence, strategic growth, and results.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Yandell holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Louisiana State University, as well as completing the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
