New York, USA, May 2024 – Dana M. Codispoti has joined Madison Realty Capital as the new Chief People Officer. With extensive experience in global HR leadership and enterprise transformation, Dana is set to lead the human resources initiatives at Madison Realty Capital, a vertically integrated private equity firm.
Dana’s most recent role was as the Founder and CEO of Dana Codispoti Coaching & Consulting since 2023. In this capacity, she led companies and individuals through complexity, chaos, and transformation, leveraging her skills in global HR leadership and strategic planning.
Prior to founding her consulting firm, Dana was the Chief Operating Officer, Human Resources & Enterprise Transformation Leader at AIG from 2019 to 2022. In this role, she led multiple enterprise transformation initiatives, including the separation of the Life and Retirement Business, a multi-year HR transformation, and driving organizational health during a period of massive change.
Dana also served as the Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Human Resources at BNY Mellon from 2016 to 2019. Here, she was responsible for overall HR service delivery, driving strategy, transformation, business management, and operations/technology activities for the HR function.
Before her tenure at BNY Mellon, Dana held various leadership roles at Morgan Stanley from 2003 to 2016. Her roles included Managing Director – Head of Global Firmwide Culture, Values, and Conduct Program, and Global Head of HR Operations and Business Transformation. During her time at Morgan Stanley, she led significant HR transformation initiatives and managed global HR operations.
Dana’s early career included roles as a Principal Consultant at PwC Consulting/IBM, where she successfully implemented large-scale transformation projects for Fortune 500 companies.
