Boston, Massachusetts, United States, December 2025 — Audax Private Equity has announced the appointment of Daniela Fontes-Fried as Vice President, Human Resources, marking a significant leadership transition within the firm’s people and culture function.
In her new role, Daniela Fontes-Fried will lead human resources strategy for Audax Private Equity, supporting the firm’s continued growth across its investment platforms and internal operations. She will focus on strengthening talent strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience, aligning people priorities with Audax’s long-term Buy & Build investment approach.
At Audax Group, Daniela Fontes-Fried brings nearly two decades of progressive HR leadership experience within the organization. Prior to this appointment, she served as Director, Human Resources, where she played a key role in scaling HR operations, supporting senior leadership, and advancing firmwide people initiatives during a period of sustained growth.
Earlier at Audax, she held roles including Manager, Human Resources and Human Resources Generalist, steadily expanding her scope across talent management, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. Her long-standing tenure reflects deep institutional knowledge and a strong partnership with investment and operational teams across the firm.
At the start of her career, she served as Human Resources Coordinator at Audax and previously worked at Nation One Mortgage, gaining early exposure to operational and people processes that shaped her foundation in human resources.
Daniela Fontes-Fried holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Community Health from Tufts University and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Emmanuel College (Boston).
