Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, February 2025 – Danny Knaub has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Blumenthal Arts, where he will lead strategic marketing initiatives, branding efforts, and audience engagement programs. With a proven track record in experiential marketing, festival promotion, and arts communications, Knaub is set to strengthen the organization’s presence and impact in the cultural sector.
Knaub has been with Blumenthal Arts for nearly four years, previously serving as Vice President of Marketing, where he played a key role in rebranding the organization, launching Blume Studios, and expanding the Charlotte International Arts Festival to over 1.5 million attendees. His leadership contributed to $96 million in economic impact, employment growth, and increased artist support in 2024.
Before joining Blumenthal Arts, Knaub worked as Senior Marketing & Press Manager at Broadway Booking Office NYC, where he led marketing campaigns for national Broadway tours, including Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, The King and I, The Sound of Music, and Into the Woods. He previously served as Director of Communications at BroadwaySF, where he managed publicity for productions at the SHN Curran, Golden Gate, and Orpheum Theatres, enhancing regional and national awareness.
Earlier in his career, Knaub held various roles at Blumenthal Arts, including Communications Manager and Publicist, where he developed and implemented publicity campaigns for major productions and events. He also worked as Venue Relations Manager at Goldstar Events, handling national partnerships with Cirque du Soleil, FELD, and VEE.
With expertise in strategic marketing, branding, audience engagement, and festival promotions, Knaub’s leadership as Chief Marketing Officer will further enhance Blumenthal Arts’ reputation as a national leader in immersive and performing arts experiences.
