Columbus, Ohio, United States, March 2025 – Danyelle Stagg has been promoted to Vice President, Human Resources at Nationwide, where she will lead HR strategy, workforce planning, and talent development for the Fortune 100 company. With a strong track record in organizational development, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement, she will play a pivotal role in shaping Nationwide’s people-first culture and advancing strategic HR initiatives.
Danyelle has been with Nationwide for nearly seven years, holding progressive leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Associate Vice President, Human Resources, overseeing HR transformation, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Before that, she held the roles of Senior Director, HR Associate Relations and Senior Consultant, Human Resources, where she was instrumental in enhancing HR policies, improving employee engagement frameworks, and driving workforce efficiencies.
Prior to Nationwide, Danyelle was Director, Human Resources at Highlights for Children, where she focused on leadership development, employee experience, and HR operations. Earlier, she spent nearly seven years at Bath & Body Works (L Brands), holding multiple HR roles, including Senior Manager, Human Resources, Manager, Diversity & Inclusion, and HR Business Partner. In these roles, she led culture-building initiatives, workforce planning, and leadership coaching to support the company’s talent strategy.
Her earlier career includes leadership roles at Kohl’s as Assistant Store Manager and Hondros College as Director of Student Services, where she built expertise in employee relations, HR compliance, and talent acquisition. She holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Franklin University and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
