San Francisco, California, United States, September 2024 – Darien May has been named the new Director of Talent Acquisition at Eventbrite, a global platform that brings people together through live experiences. In this role, Darien will oversee and lead the company’s talent acquisition strategies to help grow and enhance Eventbrite’s workforce, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals of driving innovation and expanding its global impact.
Darien began his journey at Eventbrite as Principal Talent Lead, where he played a key role in shaping and implementing talent strategies for the company. Prior to joining Eventbrite, he worked at Twitter in the Talent Acquisition (Engineering) team for approximately three years, leading efforts to recruit top engineering talent during a significant period of growth.
Before his time at Twitter, Darien worked at Google as a Technical Recruiter, gaining valuable experience in identifying and hiring top tech talent. Additionally, he held the role of Benefit Consultant at Benefit Commerce Group, where he further developed his expertise in talent management and consulting.
Earlier in his career, Darien held recruitment roles at Randstad Technologies US and ettain group, where he focused on business development and technical recruitment, supporting a range of industries in their talent acquisition needs.
