New York, NY, September 2025 – David Delaney has started a new role as Director of People Operations at Courier Health. In this position, he will lead people operations and talent strategy to support the company’s mission of reinventing how patients with chronic and rare diseases are supported throughout their treatment journey.
At Courier Health, David most recently served as Recruiting Lead, partnering with leadership to scale teams and build hiring programs aligned to the company’s product and patient-impact roadmap.
Previously, David spent over five years at Cockroach Labs, rising from Principal Recruiter to Senior Manager, Recruiting and then Director, Recruiting. He built and led teams across engineering, product, executive search, international, and campus hiring while supporting the company’s growth from early-stage through late-stage funding.
Earlier, at Yext, David progressed from Senior Technical Recruiter to Manager and then Director, Recruiting, while also serving as HRBP for the Northern Virginia office—streamlining HR processes and launching engagement initiatives during the company’s high-growth and post-IPO phases. He has also advised GoodTime.io (Customer Advisory Board), led at Dave Partners, and supported Twitter/Vine as a Contract Technical Recruiter during a period of rapid team expansion.
David began his career in product and community-focused roles, including Product Manager at XSE Group, with early experience across research, events, and volunteer coordination at organizations such as Johns Hopkins University, Loyola University Maryland, and multiple community programs.
