Jericho, New York, USA – October 2024 – David Hall has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at American Global, one of North America’s largest privately held insurance and surety brokerage firms. In his new role, David will drive the financial strategy of the firm, focusing on accelerating growth, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring compliance across the company’s global operations.
Before joining American Global, David worked at Aon for nearly 14 years in various leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Finance Leader – Digital Client Solutions, where he led the financial management of Aon’s hyper-growth segment across global markets. He played a crucial role in balancing profitability with revenue expansion, working collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams.
Earlier, David was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at CoverWallet, an Aon company, where he drove financial strategy and performance for the small and medium-sized enterprise platform. His efforts were instrumental in achieving strategic financial goals, partnering with leaders across the firm to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
Prior to his tenure at Aon, David served as the Vice President of National Strategy & Operations, where he led teams in Operations, Analytics, and Data Management, supporting Aon’s internal strategy in Canada and developing innovative reporting mechanisms.
David started his career at IG Wealth Management as a Consultant, further honing his financial and analytical skills.
