City of London, England, United Kingdom, May 2024 – Suren Thadani has joined Deloitte as a Partner in the Value Creation Team. Suren is excited to collaborate with an exceptionally talented team to deliver impactful operations and supply chain solutions for Private Equity, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Corporate clients. He is passionate about leveraging real-life operational experience to improve margins and unlock working capital opportunities for clients.
Suren’s most recent role was as Managing Director at Interpath Advisory, where he spent approximately three years. At Interpath, he supported the leadership team in developing the value creation practice with a strong focus on leveraging supply chain optimization to drive working capital or margin improvements. He led several post-acquisition value creation initiatives, advised on complex operations restructuring, and implemented margin improvement programs.
Before Interpath Advisory, Suren was a Principal at Oliver Wyman for around one and a half years. In this role, he was responsible for project delivery, business development, and digital supply chain asset creation within the Operations & Transportation practice. He implemented rapid post-deal value creation supply chain improvement programs and led post-merger integration efforts.
Suren also served as a Portfolio Strategy Leader at Volaris Group for nearly three years. He managed the P&L of a carved-out maritime software company, transitioned a traditional software company to a SaaS-based platform solution model, and led digital product design and re-platforming efforts.
Earlier in his career, Suren was the Chief Operating Officer at Inchcape Shipping Services for about five years. He managed global operations across 350+ office locations and 4000+ employees, turned around a sub-optimally performing maritime ERP technology business, and significantly improved margins.
Earlier Roles: Suren held various significant roles at DHL Supply Chain for over seven years, including SVP – Strategy & BD Excellence (EMEA), Director – Innovation, and VP – Bahwan – Exel (JV in Oman). He was responsible for leading strategy and business development excellence, identifying and commercializing new business ideas, and implementing the first 4PL model within the Oil & Gas Industry. Additionally, he worked as a Senior Engagement Manager at IBM for four years, managing supply chain strategy and transformation projects for key customers in various sectors.
