Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, September 2024 – David Martin has been appointed as the Country Chief Executive for Vietnam at Bureau Veritas Group, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification. In his new role, David will oversee the operations of Bureau Veritas Vietnam, including managing business units in certification, industry, buildings and infrastructure, government services, and more. His leadership will focus on profit & loss management, strategic growth, and ensuring compliance with the Group’s principles and values.
David joins Bureau Veritas after serving as Asia Regional Director, Service Line General Engineering at Egis in Asia Pacific for over a year. During his tenure, he developed and implemented strategic initiatives across Asia, ensuring the business met financial KPIs and aligned with global business strategies.
Prior to Egis, David worked with Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation in Ho Chi Minh City as Director of the International Business Department. He was responsible for leading the company’s international expansion through real estate development and construction projects worldwide. His strategic leadership in land selection, partnerships, and business development significantly contributed to the company’s global growth.
David also held roles at gbc engineers as Regional Director for Southeast Asia, where he optimized operations and led business development efforts to expand the company’s presence in the region. His experience across various leadership positions in international markets has equipped him with the expertise to steer Bureau Veritas Vietnam toward continued success.
