Boston, Massachusetts, United States, June 2025 – David Muller has taken on a new leadership role as Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Mariner, a leading name in wealth advisory and planning. In this strategic position, David will lead enterprise-wide recruitment efforts, optimizing hiring strategies across multiple Mariner brands while enhancing candidate experience, hiring efficiency, and leadership acquisition.
Prior to joining Mariner, David spent over seven years at Agero, Inc., where he served as Vice President of Recruiting. There, he led talent acquisition for a digital-first roadside assistance and connected vehicle company serving over 150 million customers. He managed a high-performing team of recruiters and RPO partners while advancing DEI, executive hiring, and workforce planning.
Before Agero, David served as Head of Recruiting & Employee Integration at DataXu, a venture-backed adtech firm later acquired by Roku. He rebuilt the global TA infrastructure, streamlined hiring across North America, EMEA, and APAC, and introduced behavioral assessments like Predictive Index to elevate hiring precision.
David also played a critical role at Rapid7 as Head of Talent Acquisition, where he established scalable recruiting strategies supporting hypergrowth and IPO readiness. He led international hiring across cybersecurity, engineering, and GTM functions and managed acquisition integrations to align workforce planning and cultural synergies.
Earlier, at Cengage Group, David was Vice President, HR & Talent Acquisition, where he helped rebuild the firm’s talent engine post-bankruptcy, leading recruitment across multiple U.S. sites and supporting key leadership hiring. His long-standing tenure at Fidelity Investments spanned over 13 years, culminating in his role as Director of Recruiting, where he led a global recruiting team responsible for over 3,000 hires annually, covering roles from software engineering to financial advisory.
