Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2024 – Deepa Subbaiah B has been appointed as the AVP & Head, People and Culture – APAC & India at Amadeus. With a rich background in human resources and strategic leadership, Deepa brings extensive expertise in talent management and organizational development to her new role, aiming to drive impactful HR strategies and initiatives at Amadeus.
Deepa Subbaiah B joins Amadeus with a significant career in HR leadership across various industries. At Amadeus, she will focus on enhancing HR practices, building a strong organizational culture, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Prior to this, Deepa served as the Senior Director – HR (Product & Engineering) at Freshworks for approximately 1 year and 10 months. In this role, she was instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that supported the growth and success of the engineering and product teams.
Before Freshworks, Deepa was a Human Resources Consultant (HRBP) – Engineering at Cisco for about 3 years and 10 months, where she provided strategic HR support and guidance to the engineering teams, driving performance and development initiatives.
She also held the position of General Manager (HR) – Industrial, Consumer & Central Business Groups at 3M for approximately 11 months, where she led HR operations and strategies for multiple business units.
Deepa’s tenure at Wipro Limited spanned over 4 years and 7 months, where she held various leadership roles including General Manager & Head HR – All Service Lines, India, Head HR – Global Infrastructure Services, India & Middle East, and Head HR – Managed Services, India & Middle East. In these roles, she was responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that aligned with business objectives and supported organizational growth.
Earlier in her career, Deepa served as an HR Manager at GE Healthcare, leading HR functions for the technology and services divisions in South Asia. She also held various HR roles at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., where she gained experience in HR operations, talent engagement, employee relations, and performance management.
