Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Deepak Tyagi has joined Micropack Pvt Ltd. as Chief Operating Officer (COO), bringing with him close to two decades of experience in operational excellence, manufacturing transformation, financial turnaround, and strategic leadership. In his new role, he will lead the scaling of operations, strengthen supply chain efficiency, and drive strategic growth initiatives to support Micropack’s expanding role in India’s Defence and Aerospace ecosystem. His leadership will play a critical role in supporting major national programmes across fighter aircraft, missiles, naval and radar systems, and ISRO’s space missions, while further advancing India’s capabilities in indigenous high-reliability PCB manufacturing.
In his most recent leadership tenure at the Sogefi Group, Deepak served as Vice President & Business Head, where he led India operations with P&L ownership and drove profitable business turnaround, operational optimization, and manufacturing excellence. He also played a pivotal role in new product development, technology transfer, and organizational capability building across diverse teams and environments.
Before Sogefi, Deepak spent nearly eight years with Autoliv, progressing through multiple senior manufacturing and production leadership roles. He led production across Airbag, Steering Wheel, and Seat Belt product lines, enhanced plant-level KPIs, implemented global operational excellence frameworks, and drove strategic cost-saving and capability-building initiatives across shop floors and supply networks.
Prior to Autoliv, Deepak was associated with Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd, where he led assembly line operations for major vehicle platforms including Nissan Micra, Datsun, and KWID. His work contributed to efficiency improvements, quality precision, and successful new model launches, strengthening production reliability across facilities.
His earlier experiences at Cooper Standard and the Trelleborg Group contributed to his foundational expertise in plant operations, production planning, quality control, supply chain coordination, and new facility setup. Through these roles, he established strong command over large-scale operations and advanced manufacturing systems.
