Chicago, Illinois, USA, May 2024 – Laura Rock has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Kemper. With extensive experience in human resources and organizational leadership, Laura is set to lead the company’s People and Culture initiatives, enhancing employee experience and driving strategic growth.
At Zurich North America, Laura served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for over five years. In this role, she led the HR function, driving transformative change and fostering a positive organizational culture.
Prior to this, Laura was with Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in Switzerland for over three years. She held various roles, including Head of HRBP, Corporate Center, Head of HRBP Group Functions, and Group Head of HR Transformation. Her strategic initiatives significantly contributed to the company’s global HR transformation and organizational development.
Laura also worked at Farmers Insurance Group of Companies for nearly seven years. She served as the Head of Human Resources, Head of HR Strategy and Workforce Planning, and Human Resources Business Partner, 21st Century. Her leadership was pivotal in developing and executing HR strategies focused on talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
Before joining Farmers Insurance, Laura held HR roles at AIG and American General, where she gained significant experience in human resources management and organizational development.
