He will work closely with business leadership to integrate talent strategy with long-term business objectives while reinforcing employee engagement and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Garware Fulflex Group, Deo Kumar Pandey served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Knauf India for nearly four years. At Knauf, he played a pivotal role in leading the HR transformation following the transition from USG Boral to Knauf, aligning the people strategy with the new business vision. As a member of the Executive Committee, he contributed to scaling the organization from USD 30 million to USD 150 million in revenue. He designed leadership development frameworks, executed productivity-focused workforce planning delivering significant cost savings, and achieved the highest employee engagement scores in the MEASA region. His work in strengthening employer branding, succession planning, and DEI initiatives positioned Knauf India as a benchmark in people practices.

Earlier, he was Director HR (Head of HR) at USG Boral Building Products, where he led culture building, organization design, and long-term people processes for the India business. As a member of the Executive Committee, he partnered with business leaders to enhance productivity and accountability while introducing modern ways of working. He was instrumental in creating succession pipelines, strengthening engagement frameworks, and addressing complex organizational challenges during a period of transformation.

Before that, Deo Kumar Pandey spent over seven years with Carrier Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Ltd (UTC Company), rising to the role of General Manager HR. He led HR for five legal entities of a USD 300 million enterprise with more than 1,500 employees. He architected leadership and talent strategies, drove salesforce capability building, and steered APAC talent initiatives through the regional Talent Council. He also played a key role in campus hiring, learning interventions, and expansion of distribution channels in high-growth markets.

His earlier experience includes leading large-scale HR operations at Walmart India, managing over 4,000 employees across 12 stores, where he implemented performance-linked incentives and achieved top-tier Gallup engagement scores. At The Coca-Cola Company, he handled factory HR, sales HR, union relations, and compliance as Head HR for East UP and later HR Head–Delhi, managing complex industrial relations and multi-site operations.

An MBA in Human Resources from Maharishi International University and LL.B in Labour Law from University of Allahabad, Deo Kumar Pandey brings over two decades of rich experience across manufacturing, retail, building materials, and FMCG sectors. His deep expertise in strategic HR, industrial relations, and transformation makes him well placed to lead Garware Fulflex’s global people vision.
