Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 2025 – OSK Group has appointed Derrick Quek as Head, Group Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding. In this role, Derrick will report directly to the CHRO and partner closely with senior leadership, including Group MDs, CEOs, Directors, and HODs. He will lead the organization’s talent acquisition and employer branding function, drive strategy and execution across all recruitment operations, and champion initiatives to position OSK as an employer of choice in key markets.
Derrick most recently served at foodpanda as Regional Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding (Asia, Europe, Turkey), where for nearly four years he led global recruitment projects, country-level hiring strategies, and employer branding initiatives. He also spearheaded the implementation of a new ATS system and drove a high-performing, diverse talent pipeline across multiple international markets.
Simultaneously, he also contributed under Delivery Hero in the same capacity, working across Asia and Europe, covering executive and mass recruitment, employer branding, and strategic hiring across 11 countries.
Prior to that, he briefly worked with The Coca-Cola Company as Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding for Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, where he championed employer branding programs, senior hiring, and “Great Place to Work” initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Derrick held several senior roles with BAT (British American Tobacco), including Regional Recruitment Assistant Manager and Cluster Lead across APAC markets. Before BAT, he was with foodpanda as Senior Recruitment Lead (APAC), SRG Asia Pacific as Talent Acquisition Lead (APAC), and earlier roles with Chubb, Redberry Contact Center, and other organizations where he built expertise in recruitment, training, and employer branding.
