London, England, United Kingdom, April 2026 – Dhruva Tandon has been promoted to Executive Director, Corporate Coverage at Standard Chartered, marking a significant advancement in his long-standing career with the bank.
In his new role, Dhruva Tandon serves as a Global Coverage Banker for Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) corporates headquartered in the UK and Switzerland. He will continue to play a critical role in managing global corporate relationships and delivering integrated banking solutions across multiple markets.
Prior to this promotion, Dhruva Tandon served as Director, Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Chartered, where he led global account management for UK and Swiss-headquartered corporates across the technology, media, and industrial sectors. He acted as a key interface for Group Treasury and CFO offices, orchestrating delivery across a wide spectrum of banking products including leveraged finance, debt capital markets, liquidity management, trade finance, and risk solutions.
Earlier, he held the role of Associate Director, India Advisor – Global Subsidiaries at Standard Chartered, advising European corporates on South Asia strategies and structuring complex financing and banking solutions with a focus on India.
He also served as Associate, Europe–South Asia Network, and subsequently as Associate, Global Corporates, where he managed relationships with multinational subsidiaries and contributed to deal origination across corporate finance and capital markets.
In earlier roles, Dhruva Tandon worked as Business Planning Manager – International Corporates and Client Coverage Manager, building strong expertise in business strategy, client coverage, and corporate banking operations.
He began his journey at Standard Chartered as a Wholesale Banking Graduate, gaining foundational exposure across operations and client coverage functions. Additionally, he gained early experience as a Research Associate at Artiman Ventures, where he worked on market research and business analysis projects.
Education
Dhruva Tandon holds a PGDM in Banking from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, equipping him with strong academic grounding in financial services and corporate banking.
