Tempe, Arizona, United States, May 2025 – Donna Howard has joined Gen4 Dental Partners as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. In this strategic leadership role, Donna will lead all facets of human capital strategy across the fast-growing, clinician-led Dental Service Organization (DSO), supporting Gen4’s mission of transforming patient care and dental practice partnerships through people-first practices and innovation.
Prior to joining Gen4 Dental Partners, Donna served as Chief Human Resources Officer at PhyNet Dermatology, where she played a key role in driving HR strategy for a network spanning over 120 locations in 17 states. She led efforts in engagement, retention, talent development, and acquisition integrations, aligning people initiatives with the organization’s rapid growth trajectory.
Before that, she held dual CHRO responsibilities at Hoy Health and HomeFront Health, where she launched the entire HR function for this VC-backed healthcare technology firm. Her accomplishments included rapid physician onboarding, diversity improvements, cost-effective hiring strategies, and competency-driven frameworks—all aligned to accelerate market responsiveness and revenue generation.
Previously, Donna was Vice President, Human Resources at Fresenius Medical Care North America, where she oversaw talent strategy and culture change for over 20,000 employees. She drove enterprise-level programs to improve engagement, reduce turnover, enhance onboarding, and implement succession planning and performance systems—delivering multi-million-dollar savings while improving patient-centric metrics.
Donna’s early career includes nearly 7 years as CHRO at Sonic Healthcare USA, where she partnered closely with the global executive team to align HR with business outcomes, reduce costs, and lead transformative acquisitions and integrations. She has also held leadership roles at Ernst & Young, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and national retention initiatives.
