Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, February 2025 – Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj has been appointed as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL). With extensive expertise in digital transformation, AI, cloud computing, blockchain, IoT, machine learning, and cybersecurity, he will spearhead AESL’s digital initiatives, smart metering expansion, and integration of advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
Before joining AESL, Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj served as Group Chief Information Officer at Adani Total Gas, where he was instrumental in leading the digital, technology, IT, and cybersecurity functions. He played a key role in the development of the Adani Super App and Adani Industry Cloud, driving digital transformation across multiple business verticals, including smart metering, e-mobility, and biogas solutions.
Prior to that, he was Global Vice President – Digital Leadership at Columbus, a Danish multinational, where he led digital strategy, cloud adoption, and AI-driven transformation across 17 countries. His expertise in enterprise modernization, data intelligence, and cybersecurity solutions significantly contributed to large-scale business transformation and customer engagement strategies.
He also held leadership roles at RECCONIX and Wipro, where he spearheaded AI, IoT, and cloud-based digital innovations for global enterprises. At Wipro, he led the Global Engineering and COE division, built next-gen digital platforms, and onboarded enterprise clients exceeding $100 million in revenue. His experience also includes IT consulting, business automation, and digital infrastructure solutions across the US, UK, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific markets.
