Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — ERRL – Enviro Remediation & Research Laboratory has announced the appointment of Dr. Dhanashree Bhelose as Partner & Technical Director, strengthening the organisation’s scientific and leadership capabilities in the field of environmental diagnostics, biodegradability testing, and sustainability research. With more than a decade of experience spanning environmental sciences, microbiology, and applied biotechnology, Dr. Bhelose brings a rare blend of scientific rigor and industrial application to ERRL’s growing portfolio.
In her new role, she will lead the laboratory’s biodegradability and compostability research verticals, oversee advanced eco-toxicity assessments, and expand global testing partnerships aligned with ISO, BIS, and international certification standards. Her appointment reinforces ERRL’s vision of driving next-generation environmental research and product sustainability testing with precision and integrity.
Before joining ERRL, Dr. Bhelose spent nine impactful years at Intertek, where she served as Head of Biosciences. She established Intertek’s first global biodegradability, compostability, and toxicity testing facility, spearheaded strategic accreditations such as ISO/IEC 17025:2017, BIS, and BPI, and led initiatives that positioned Intertek as a pioneer in sustainable product testing. Earlier, she played a crucial leadership role at Enviro Analysts & Engineers Pvt. Ltd., overseeing MOEF and NABET compliance, managing large-scale laboratory operations, and leading environmental testing frameworks across multiple matrices.
A published researcher and patent contributor, Dr. Bhelose has authored multiple peer-reviewed papers on biodegradation science, sustainability testing, and microbiological treatment systems. Her research on ferrofluid-based water purification, presented at the International Engineering Symposium, Japan, exemplifies her focus on connecting academic innovation with applied environmental solutions. Her appointment marks an important step in ERRL’s continued commitment to excellence in scientific research, environmental stewardship, and sustainability-driven innovation.
