With over two decades of leadership experience across financial services, technology, and public sector organizations, Dr. Harpreet brings deep expertise in organizational transformation, leadership development, and people strategy. In his new role, he will focus on driving Protean’s people agenda, building a future-ready workforce, and enabling business transformation through leadership, culture, and talent development.
Before joining Protean eGov Technologies, Dr. Harpreet served as Senior Executive Vice President – Human Resources at Kotak Life, where he spearheaded strategic HR initiatives to strengthen talent management, leadership development, and organizational capability. His leadership played a key role in creating a high-performance and employee-centric culture across the organization.
Prior to Kotak Life, he was Head – HR & Administration at Jio Tesseract, the AR/VR innovation arm of Reliance Industries, where he contributed to building a futuristic, technology-driven organization focused on immersive digital experiences. His previous role as Head HR & Marketing at India Post Payments Bank saw him lead HR operations for over 300,000 employees across India — one of the largest public sector HR transformations in the country.
Dr. Harpreet’s career also includes impactful stints at the Aditya Birla Group, where he led HRBP and Learning & Talent Development at Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank, and at Pramerica Life Insurance, where he transformed the learning function and built distribution capability through modernized frameworks. Earlier, he held multiple roles at Kotak Life Insurance and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, contributing to leadership development, training architecture, and people capability building.
With a distinguished track record of aligning HR strategy with business priorities, Dr. Harpreet is recognized for his ability to shape people-centric cultures, develop future leaders, and drive organizational change with purpose and innovation.
