Vadodara, Gujarat, India, February 2026 — Dr. Pramod Kabra, MD has joined Universal Medicap Ltd (UML) as Joint Managing Director, bringing with him more than two decades of leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, life sciences, and healthcare services.
In his new role at Universal Medicap Ltd, Dr. Pramod Kabra will work closely with the leadership team to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation for the organisation, leveraging his deep expertise across regulated healthcare markets and complex life sciences businesses.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Pramod Kabra served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Everlife-CPC Diagnostics, a portfolio company of Everstone Capital. During his tenure, he led the organisation through a phase of significant transformation and growth, strengthening its leadership position in diagnostics and healthcare solutions across India.
Before Everlife-CPC Diagnostics, he spent nearly a decade at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he held senior leadership roles including Managing Director – India and later Board Member, Thermo Fisher India and Director – Healthcare, South Asia. In these roles, he was instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint in India, building government and corporate affairs functions, and driving growth across healthcare and life sciences segments.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Pramod Kabra held leadership and advisory positions at PRA Health Sciences as Board Member and Director, and at Reliance Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. as Head – Early Development and Medical Advisor, where he contributed to clinical operations, early-stage development programmes, and medical strategy across biopharmaceutical initiatives.
Dr. Pramod Kabra is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, further strengthening his blend of medical expertise and business leadership.
