Gurugram, Haryana, India, November 2025 – Yellow Fertility, a leading name in reproductive healthcare, has announced the appointment of Dr. Reji (M) Pillai as its new Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). With an accomplished career spanning over two decades across healthcare operations, administration, and business transformation, Dr. Pillai brings a strategic blend of operational excellence and leadership experience to this pivotal role.
In his new position, Dr. Pillai will lead multi-site hospital operations with full P&L accountability, focusing on regulatory compliance, process innovation, and team leadership across HR, finance, and clinical departments. His appointment underscores Yellow Fertility’s commitment to scaling its operations and delivering world-class fertility care driven by quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Before joining Yellow Fertility, Dr. Reji (M) Pillai served as Interim COO and Vice President – Group Operations at IHPL, where he oversaw a ₹300+ crore healthcare portfolio across three verticals: a multi-specialty hospital, a 74-branch fertility division, and a nursing education institution. Under his leadership, the organization recorded an 8% revenue increase and expanded operations from 51 to 72 branches within seven months, contributing over ₹15 crore to the revenue pipeline.
Prior to that, he worked with ASG Eye Hospital as Group Head – Operations, Projects and Compliances, where he directed multi-site operations with a focus on achieving 100% regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. He implemented several process improvements that reduced costs and enhanced patient satisfaction.
Earlier, at Indira IVF Hospital Limited, Dr. Pillai held the position of Group Head – Operations and Compliances, leading the launch of 31 new fertility centers across India within 20 months. His team maintained 100% compliance across 74+ centers and achieved 99.5% audit scores from Big 4 firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, and EY. His contributions significantly strengthened Indira IVF’s national footprint in the fertility care space.
Before his tenure at Indira IVF, he held senior roles including Head of Administration and Non-Tech Functions at MHL, COO – Operations and HR at City Gold Entertainment Limited, and Group Manager – HR and IT Operations at Manav Nesvi Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. His diverse career also includes entrepreneurial ventures as JV Partner at Fairdeal Production, and leadership of a non-profit initiative, Empowering Growth… “Entity Called Success,” focusing on customized training for SMEs and mid-sized corporates.
Dr. Reji (M) Pillai holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA). His strong educational foundation complements his extensive operational and strategic leadership experience in healthcare and business transformation.
