Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, March 2025 – Dr. Samir Mishra has taken over as Head HR & Admin at Jaipur International Airport Limited, part of Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, Adani Group. In this role, he will lead the airport’s human resources and administrative operations, focusing on strategic people practices, organizational transformation, and workforce engagement.
Previously, Dr. Mishra served as Senior HR Business Partner at Jaipur International Airport Limited, where he played a pivotal role in the successful transition from AAI to Adani management. He was instrumental in creating a learning culture, building a competent team, enhancing talent practices, and driving sustainable community engagement initiatives.
Before this, he worked at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA) as HR Business Partner, where he was responsible for HR strategy delivery across talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and learning & development. His contributions included managing the entire PMS cycle for over 1300 employees, streamlining promotion processes, and strengthening leadership capability across the organization.
Earlier in his tenure with Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, he held the role of Lead – C&B, TM, and Corporate HRBP, where he managed a ₹700 Cr HR budget, introduced a Pay to Performance framework, and led compensation restructuring initiatives. His expertise extended to organizational structuring, talent evaluation, and total rewards strategy formulation.
Dr. Mishra’s journey began at Adani Enterprises Limited, where he led talent acquisition efforts during the privatization of six airports. He was also part of the corporate HR team handling transition strategies, succession planning, and HR due diligence in collaboration with global consultants. Prior to his tenure with the Adani Group, he held key HR leadership roles at TATA Power, contributing to strategic projects, manpower planning, industrial relations, and learning & development. His career began with United Breweries Ltd and Global Franchisee Franchisor Pvt Ltd in HR and marketing roles respectively.
Dr. Mishra holds a PhD in Human Resources Management from Sri Balaji University, Pune, and an MBA in HRM from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
