Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2024 – Dr. Seema Gupta has started her new position as Director of the Hyderabad Campus at SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). In her new role, Dr. Gupta will be leading all the management, law, pharmacy, engineering, and commerce schools at the fully residential 90-acre campus, as well as the city campus.
Dr. Seema Gupta brings extensive academic and administrative experience to NMIMS. Prior to this, she served as the Dean of the Galgotias School of Business at Galgotias University in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in enhancing the academic and operational excellence of the institution.
Dr. Gupta also held the position of Independent Director and Board Member at UBI Services Ltd, where she contributed to strategic decision-making and governance. Additionally, she was the Director of Degree & Business Programs at Great Learning, where she led initiatives to enhance educational offerings and business strategies.
With a long-standing affiliation with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), Dr. Gupta served as an Associate Professor of Marketing and was the Chairperson of the Post Graduate Program in Enterprise Management (PGSEM). She was actively involved in corporate training, consulting in digital marketing, and held administrative responsibilities for IIMB’s reputed postgraduate weekend program.
Her earlier roles include being an Assistant Professor of Marketing at MICA | The School of Ideas, where she designed and launched the first one-year Post Graduate Program in Public Relations & Event Management. She also served as a Lecturer at B.N. College in Udaipur and a Territory Manager at RPG Group.
