Tustin, California, United States, September 2025 — Eddie Gardiner has taken on a new role as Director, Talent Management at Tricon Residential, marking an important step in his career as a learning and talent development leader. In this role, Gardiner will be responsible for driving strategies to strengthen organizational capability, leadership development, and employee growth across Tricon’s U.S. and Canadian operations.
Gardiner has been with Tricon Residential for more than three years. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager of Learning and Development, where he designed and launched the Tricon Academy Manager Development Programs and New People Leader Orientation initiatives. He also led the Maintenance Technician Certification Program across multiple markets, enhanced compliance and ethics training, and played a pivotal role in transforming Tricon’s performance management processes. Earlier, as Learning and Development Manager, he advanced DEI training initiatives in partnership with Jennifer Brown Consulting, expanded university partnerships, and significantly improved compliance training completion rates across the organization.
Before joining Tricon, Gardiner worked as an Organizational Development Specialist at County of Orange Human Resource Services, where he led countywide training programs, redesigned employee onboarding, and was recognized with a Leadership Award from the University of Redlands in 2021. Earlier, he was a Staff Development Specialist with Orange County Community Resource, designing multi-level training plans and supporting organizational learning initiatives.
Gardiner also spent nearly eight years at the YMCA of Greater Long Beach as Associate Program Director / Training Manager, where he designed and delivered training programs nationally and locally, developed youth programs in partnership with the California Community Foundation, and managed large teams of site managers and frontline staff.
He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Organizational Leadership from National University.
