Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2025 — Brillio has appointed Elavarasu A K as Managing Director & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Bringing over 27 years of expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, AI security, and business continuity, Elavarasu has a proven track record of leading security transformations across diverse industries and geographies.
In his new role, he will drive Brillio’s global cybersecurity strategy, strengthen resilience against emerging threats, and advise Fortune 500 clients across the USA, Europe, and APAC on information security, compliance, and business continuity planning. He will also lead cybersecurity go-to-market strategies, M&A security due diligence, and enterprise-wide cyber resilience programs.
Prior to joining Brillio, Elavarasu spent over nine years at Mphasis, where he rose to Senior Vice President & CISO, building multi-year security roadmaps, enhancing compliance programs, and mentoring high-performing teams.
Earlier, he served as Associate Vice President – Group Information Security at Standard Chartered Bank, and held security leadership positions at Microsoft and Nokia, where he advanced global security frameworks and compliance readiness.
His career also includes key roles at IBM Global Services as Business Continuity Manager, Tech Mahindra (Satyam Computer Services) as Lead Consultant, Vinciti Networks as Team Lead, and ITI Ltd. as Assistant Executive Engineer. He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication, an MBA, and industry certifications including CISSP, CISA, CISM, and CBCP.
