Ho Chi Minh City,Vietnam, March 2026 — Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has appointed Philippe Gautron as Senior Vice President & Business Head – APAC, where he will oversee the company’s operations across the Asia-Pacific region. In this leadership role, he holds full P&L responsibility for 19 markets across APAC, supporting Glenmark’s strategic growth and expansion in the region.
Gautron brings extensive global pharmaceutical leadership experience and deep expertise in business transformation, regional market expansion, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, he served as General Manager at STADA Pymepharco, where he managed full P&L and legal responsibilities, overseeing commercial operations, manufacturing sites, and multiple legal entities. During his tenure, he led major business transformation initiatives, including leadership restructuring, go-to-market model transformation across retail and medical channels, and strategic government affairs and compliance initiatives.
Earlier, Gautron spent more than a decade with DKSH, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Head South East Asia-Pacific & Head of Global Business Development – Own Brands. In this capacity, he led the Own Brands division across ten Southeast Asia and Pacific markets and spearheaded global business development initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and licensing partnerships across multiple regions.
Before DKSH, he served as South East Asia Head at Exeltis, part of the CHEMO Group (INSUD Pharma), where he led pharmaceutical operations across key Southeast Asian markets including Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, with full P&L responsibility and operational leadership for regional expansion initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Gautron held country leadership roles with Abbott (Solvay Pharma) and Fournier Pharma, where he managed affiliate operations, led market development strategies, and built strong commercial teams across Europe and Asia.

His appointment reinforces Glenmark Pharmaceuticals’ focus on strengthening its presence and accelerating growth across the Asia-Pacific markets.
