Los Angeles, California, United States, May 2025 – Thinkific, the leading platform for creating and selling online courses, has announced the appointment of Elise Stribos as its new Chief People Officer. In this role, Elise will oversee the People & Culture function, driving organizational effectiveness through talent acquisition, business partnership, people operations, and organizational development—all while aligning talent strategy to business outcomes in a fully remote-first environment.
Elise brings over 18 years of global HR leadership experience across high-growth tech and consumer brands. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer at Jungle Scout, where she successfully built a global HR infrastructure and enabled an inclusive workplace culture. Prior to that, she held the position of Chief People Officer at F45 Training, where she led HR, recruitment, and administration during a critical scale-up phase, while maintaining a strong focus on employee experience and high performance.
Before joining F45, Elise led HR and talent functions at Canoo, where she played a pioneering role in building the company’s HR capabilities from the ground up. Her contributions to culture design, flat organizational structures, and agile team building were instrumental in supporting rapid growth across the U.S. and China. She was also the Co-Founder and Principal HR Consultant at Generator Talent, where she advised tech startups on HR compliance, scale, and culture.
Earlier in her career, Elise held key HR roles at Energizer Holdings and UGL, developing HR strategies, implementing SAP systems, and managing global talent initiatives. Her experience spans executive coaching, strategic HR planning, and leadership development. Elise’s human-centric approach and track record of embedding people-first cultures make her a valuable addition to Thinkific’s leadership team.
