Houston, Texas, United States, July 2024 – Elizabeth Lieb Shuler has joined Chord Energy as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. With a robust background in HR leadership, Elizabeth will oversee all HR operations, aiming to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement, and performance management.
Previously, Elizabeth served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Callon Petroleum, where she managed HR operations across multiple locations, building a high-performance HR team and leading HR initiatives during mergers, acquisitions, and operational divestments.
Prior to Callon Petroleum, Elizabeth was the Head of Human Resources & Assistant General Counsel at Buc-ee’s, Ltd.. She initially joined as Assistant General Counsel, later establishing and leading a company-wide HR department, managing talent recruitment, compliance, and employee relations, contributing significantly to the company’s expansion.
Elizabeth’s career began as an Assistant District Attorney at the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, where she gained substantial legal experience managing various legal and employment litigation matters.
