Phoenix, Arizona, United States, May 2025 – Emad Ismail has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Bleuwave, a premier general contractor and commercial construction provider based in Phoenix. In this new capacity, Emad will spearhead Bleuwave’s people and culture strategy, focusing on scalable HR infrastructure, talent development, and workforce engagement as the company continues its rapid expansion across Arizona.
Emad joins Bleuwave following a 9-year tenure at US LBM, where he most recently served as HR Director for a $2 billion region covering over 3,000 employees across 100+ locations. In this role, he led a field HR team of 11 professionals and partnered with regional leaders to implement business-aligned HR strategies, oversee M&A integration, and drive performance through robust workforce planning and operational excellence.
Earlier roles at US LBM included HR Business Partner, Market HR Manager, and HR Generalist, through which he steadily advanced by leading compliance, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives across multi-state operations. His ability to scale processes and enhance people operations played a vital role in transforming HR into a value-driven business partner across a diverse portfolio of divisions.
Emad began his HR career as an HR Coordinator, where he managed core HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and benefits. His early commitment to creating a seamless employee experience laid the foundation for his success in progressively senior HR roles in the construction and distribution sectors.
