With a robust tenure spanning over six years within the company, Emilie steps into her new role after serving as the Interim COO and Head of USA, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership in overseeing the company’s operations across the United States.
Emilie Wangerman’s journey at Lightsource bp has been marked by significant achievements and progressive responsibilities. Before her promotion, she excelled as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and M&A from January 2021, where she led key initiatives in business development, power marketing, and strategic planning. Her efforts have been crucial in bolstering Lightsource bp’s position as a leader in solar and storage solutions on a global scale.
Prior to joining Lightsource bp, Emilie held the position of Vice President of Business Development, orchestrating major projects and strategic expansions from December 2017 at the San Francisco office. Her earlier roles include impactful stints at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where she led strategic initiatives related to grid modernization and renewable resource integration, and at General Electric through the Renewable Energy Leadership Program.
