Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, March 2025 – Emily Cotterill has been appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition at Qodea, where she will lead recruitment strategies to support the company’s expansion as Europe’s largest Google Cloud transformation partner. With extensive expertise in talent acquisition, strategic hiring, and employer branding, Emily will play a crucial role in attracting top talent across the tech and cloud computing sectors.
Prior to joining Qodea, Emily was the Head of Talent and Resourcing at Dev/Null Security, a cybersecurity consultancy where she built the talent, resourcing, and operations functions from the ground up, specializing in security solutions architecture and engineering hiring.
Before that, she spent nearly six years at Adarma Security, a leading cybersecurity firm, where she progressed from Talent Acquisition Partner to Talent Acquisition Lead. During her tenure, she implemented a diverse sourcing strategy, achieved a 98% direct hire rate, and reduced time-to-hire by 40%. She also led initiatives in unconscious bias training, employer branding, and recruitment automation using AI.
Earlier in her career, Emily worked at Parity Group PLC in various recruitment leadership roles and gained experience in contract and permanent hiring across IT, change management, and cybersecurity. She has also successfully run her own business, Bark Side of Midlothian, offering pet care services tailored to shift and emergency workers.
