Hartford, Connecticut, United States, September 2025 — AXA XL has announced the appointment of Emily Linley as Head of Talent Management, Americas. In this role, Linley will lead strategies focused on talent development, succession planning, leadership growth, and employee engagement across the region, supporting AXA XL’s mission of delivering innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions worldwide.
Linley transitions into her new role after serving as Learning and Development Program Manager at AXA XL, where she enhanced organizational learning initiatives and supported talent development across business units.
Prior to joining AXA XL, Linley spent more than three years at Beazley in roles such as US Early Careers Advisor and Operations Training & Development Program Officer, where she strengthened graduate programs, managed training strategies, and focused on recruitment and retention with an emphasis on diversity and leadership development.
She also served at the American Heart Association in multiple positions, including Corporate Development Trainer, Consultant, Field Resources, and Development Director, where she designed onboarding programs, executed training initiatives, and drove fundraising development across the Eastern Region.
Earlier in her career, Linley held a leadership role as Associate Director of Development at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, where she directed major fundraising events, corporate partnerships, and volunteer programs.
