Redwood City, California, United States, August 2024 – Emily Lopez has been promoted to Sr. Director, Talent & Org Development at Box. In her new role, Emily will lead strategic initiatives focused on talent management and organizational development, ensuring that Box continues to foster a high-performing, inclusive, and innovative workforce.
Career Journey: Emily has been a part of Box for over seven years, during which she has progressively advanced in the talent development domain. Prior to her current role, she served as the Director of Talent Development, where she played a crucial role in designing and implementing leadership development programs that aligned with Box’s organizational goals.
Before that, Emily was the Sr. Manager of Talent Development, where she led various initiatives that enhanced employee engagement and performance. Her journey at Box began as the Manager of Talent Development (Org Success), where she focused on building foundational talent processes and programs that supported the company’s rapid growth.
Before joining Box, Emily worked at Aerohive Networks as a Programs Specialist, Global Talent Acquisition. In this role, she managed several critical talent acquisition programs, including process improvement, employee referral, and immigration. Her efforts significantly contributed to Aerohive’s ability to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
Earlier in her career, Emily was with Financial Engines as a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist. She was responsible for optimizing recruitment processes, managing talent acquisition operations, and supporting the company’s growth by ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Emily also served as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Financial Engines, where she gained valuable experience in recruitment coordination and candidate engagement.
