With a strong background in human resources, organizational leadership, and employee development, Emily brings over a decade of cross-sector experience spanning financial services, healthcare, and education.
In her new role, Emily will lead HR strategy, workforce development, and employee engagement initiatives at Miller Bros. Const., Inc., aligning people operations with the company’s continued growth across multiple states. Her expertise in talent management, leadership development, and organizational excellence will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s people-centric culture and supporting its mission of delivering excellence through integrity and innovation.
Before joining Miller Bros. Const., Inc., Emily spent nearly five years at Farmers & Merchants State Bank in Archbold, Ohio, where she progressed through several key roles, including AVP/Organization Development Manager, HR Manager, and HR & Recruiting Specialist. In these capacities, she led initiatives in employee engagement, leadership training, and organizational culture transformation, while contributing to strategic HR planning and talent acquisition for the growing regional bank.
Earlier, Emily served as Manager of Marketing, Wellness & Community Relations at Henry County Hospital, where she led internal communications, corporate wellness programs, and community engagement projects. Prior to that, she worked at ProMedica, a leading healthcare network, where she held multiple roles including Organization Excellence Consultant and Talent Acquisition Specialist—driving HR innovation and workforce optimization across large, diverse teams.
Her professional journey began at The University of Toledo, where she served as Assistant Director of Career Development, guiding students and alumni in professional advancement while managing key career readiness programs. This early experience laid the foundation for her passion for leadership development and organizational growth.
Emily holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership from The University of Toledo, where she honed her expertise in strategic HR management, organizational change, and leadership psychology.
