Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, April 2025 – Emily Salisbury has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer for Trinity Health Michigan Medical Groups (IHA). In her new position, Emily will lead the integration and execution of HR strategies and operations for both IHA and Trinity West Michigan medical groups, supporting a workforce of over 4,000 staff and 1,300 providers across more than 330 practice locations statewide.
Prior to this, Emily served as Senior Director HR – Emergency & Hospital Medicine at Envision Healthcare for over five years, where she was part of the executive team managing HR operations for a national network of over 5,000 physicians and advanced practice providers. Her responsibilities included acquisition harmonization and strategic alignment of HR initiatives across 300+ hospital contracts.

Previously, Emily was Director of Human Capital Management at WCG, where she provided senior HR leadership across multiple private equity Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), led recruitment initiatives with top-tier universities, and contributed to the creation of a global HR shared services model.
Earlier in her career, Emily held the position of Regional Director, Human Resources at Providence, where she led HR strategy and operations for hospitals, urgent care centers, hospice services, and outpatient facilities. She navigated complex union relationships, led acquisition harmonization, and was a member of the executive leadership team.
Her HR journey also includes a strong foundation built during her time at Henry Ford Allegiance Health and Providence St. Joseph Health, where she gained extensive experience in HR business partnering, employee relations, HRIS implementations, and organizational development. Emily is also the Founder and Executive Coach at Jupiter Coaching Group, providing leadership development services to healthcare professionals.
