Seattle, Washington, United States, December 2024 – Emily Taylor has been promoted to Vice President, Human Resources at Saltchuk Aviation, where she will spearhead strategic HR initiatives to support the organization’s operational excellence and growth. In this role, Emily will oversee HR functions across Saltchuk Aviation’s operating brands, driving talent management, compliance, and employee engagement strategies.
Emily has been with Saltchuk Aviation since April 2023, initially serving as Director of Human Resources, where she provided strategic oversight for Northern Air Cargo, Northern Air Maintenance Services, and shared services in Anchorage, Alaska. She focused on compliance, standardization, and employee lifecycle management.
Before joining Saltchuk Aviation, Emily served as Director of Human Resources at Ostara, managing HR, payroll, and safety programs. Prior to that, she held the same title at Beck Flavors, where she led talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development.
Emily spent nearly a decade with Lynden Air Cargo, ascending from Senior Accounting Specialist to Director of Human Resources, where she implemented comprehensive HR processes and managed critical pandemic response initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held HR roles with Oregon State University and Drury University, focusing on leadership development and crisis management for student communities.
