Baltimore, Maryland, United States, December 2024 – Eric Gommel has been named the Chief Financial Officer at Keswick, bringing a wealth of experience in financial strategy, business development, and healthcare services. Eric’s leadership will be critical as Keswick continues to expand its commitment to providing high-quality care and innovative programs for older adults and their families.
Eric most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer at Virginia Health Services, where he led corporate strategy and business development efforts, contributing significantly to the organization’s $100 million portfolio in senior housing, skilled nursing, and home-based care services.
Previously, Eric was Director of Business Development for the Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, where he played a pivotal role in renegotiating payer contracts, scaling chronic disease remote patient monitoring programs, and developing enterprise-wide performance scorecards for the $500 million subsidiary.
At Rochester Regional Health, Eric served as Senior Director of Strategy, overseeing system-wide strategic initiatives and providing due diligence and financial modeling for acquisitions totaling $330 million.
Earlier in his career, Eric worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center as Manager of Health System Strategy, Planning, and Development, where he spearheaded significant projects, including the transformation of a community hospital and the construction of the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Eric began his career at Stifel Financial Corp., where he was a Senior Equity Research Analyst, honored with the Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street Analyst Award” and recognized for his expertise in healthcare service providers.
