Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, May 2025 – Eric Troost has stepped into the role of Head of People Services & Innovation at TAL Australia, where he will lead the Everyday People Services and Innovation Team. In this strategic role, Eric is tasked with optimizing people processes and systems, delivering user-centric innovations that enhance employee and leader experiences, and driving continuous improvement across TAL’s People & Culture (P&C) platforms.
Eric brings a decade of experience at TAL, having previously served as Head of P&C Platforms and Optimisation, where he led the P&C system roadmap, enhanced self-service capabilities, and was the product owner for Workday. Prior to that, he was Head of People & Culture Operations, overseeing payroll, service delivery, and key employee lifecycle processes with a focus on operational excellence and simplification.
Earlier, Eric held critical roles such as Head of P&C Risk and Governance, and P&C Business Lead, where he shaped governance, analytics, and strategic planning for the function. His contributions have consistently enabled TAL’s HR operations to scale and evolve with business needs.
Before joining TAL, Eric held several senior HR leadership positions at BT Global Services, including Head of HR Shared Services for APAC and Middle East Africa, Head of HR for Australasia, and Reward Manager EMEA, gaining international exposure and expertise in operational HR, shared services, mobility, and reward management across more than 40 countries.
